Overview
Gokomere High School is a catholic institution hence all religious activities are Catholic. There is one mid-week church service for all the students and one compulsory Sunday Service. There are several religious formation groups called guilds. These include Simon Peter, Legion of Mary, Y.C.S (Young Christian Students), C.L.G (Christian Living Group). Group Members meet during weekends and are assisted by an adviser (usually a teacher) G.C.A. (Gokomere Charity Association). These groups carry out several community-based activities in and around the school. It embodies the institution’s commitment to its Catholic ethos and plays a crucial role in fostering a deep sense of spirituality, community, and moral integrity among students, faculty, and staff.

The Liturgy Section is not limited to religious ceremonies but extends to moral and ethical education. It emphasizes values such as compassion, integrity, empathy, and service, encouraging students to integrate these principles into their daily lives and future careers as educators.
Liturgical events provide a platform for community building and fostering a sense of togetherness. They bring students, faculty, and staff together in an environment of shared faith and values.
The section also offers guidance and counseling services, providing support to individuals facing spiritual and personal challenges. Students can seek advice and guidance from trained pastoral counselors.
While the Liturgy Section is deeply rooted in the Catholic faith, it embraces an inclusive approach. It welcomes individuals from diverse religious backgrounds and encourages interfaith dialogue and understanding.
